![]() The city of Palm Coast’s Planning and Land Development Regulation Board at a Sept. 100 on the west side of Seminole Wood Boulevard. The Seminole Palms development would have 451 single-family detached sites plus another 78 single-family attached townhomes about a mile and a half south of S.R. ![]() It is expected to have 411 single-family homes, with a density of 2.93 units per acre on 6,000-8,000-square-foot lots, and will require approval from the Palm Coast City Council. 1 about 2 miles north of Matanzas Woods Parkway and 1.5 miles north of the Sawmill Creek development, which is under construction. Sawmill Branch is approximately 140.44 acres on the west side of U.S. Other Sawmill Branch phases have already been approved. 15 granted its approval for a master plan for a phase within the community that will be known as Sawmill Branch. The development is expected to eventually have over 2,000 homes. The Palm Coast Park development of regional impact off Matanzas Woods Parkway will be entering a new phase. Motion was moved and seconded, passed unanimously.A developer hopes to convert 239.6 acres worth of vacant, wooded land south of State Road 100 and the Flagler Executive Airport into a community of over 500 homes. has been used by the city for many years and are asking to continue use with them for Master Service Agreement. for professional hydrogeological services. Resolution- Approving a Master Service Agreement with Connect Consulting Inc. Motion was moved and seconded, passed unanimously. This grant is given to provide Peer Fitness Training and equipment to the Fire Department which in return would be a benefit to the city and employees. Resolution- Local Match for the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Award for the Peer Fitness Training and firefighting job-related fitness equipment. This is a 28% increase in effectiveness compared to the current system that is in use. The new PSCN system will cover 98% effectiveness throughout the Flagler County. As well as, working with County Technology Team on emergency communications to identify solutions for areas with poor or no reception. The Strategic Action Plans priorities were to develop a plan for emergency communication upgrades in consultation with Flagler County and other partners. Resolution- Approving an Interlocal Agreement with Flagler County related to the Public Safety Communication Network. Council Member Jack Howell was appointed by Council Member Robert Cuff to accompany EFMCD on an aerial tour. Resolution- Authorizing the City Manager to execute the East Flagler Mosquito Control District (EFMCD) low level flights and appoint a Council Member to accompany EFMCD on an aerial tour. Conservation efforts have been accounted for and a buffer surrounds the final plot plans. The plans show Sawmill Creek will ultimately be a residential community containing approximately 2,200 homes. Sawmill Creek is a major portion of Palm Coast Park MPD and comprises most of its land located West of US-1 and North of Matanzas Woods Parkway. Resolution- Approving the Final Plat for Sawmill Creek. Motion was given to table ordinance at this time, passed unanimously. Ordinance- Amending the City of Palm Coast Code of Ordinances establishing a new section by providing for the regulation of vapor-generating electronic devices and liquid nicotine- postponed. ![]() Motion was given to move for approval, passed unanimously. Ordinance- Establishing a process for the issuance of trespass warnings on public property. On the agenda, two second read ordinances and five resolutions were conducted by City Council and employees.
